Collin Rose (29), a
police officer at the Wayne States University in Detroit, was killed last
Tuesday by being shot. He was a k9 officer and he had worked in Wayne States
for 5.5 years. De Angelo Davis (31), the suspect, was arrested at late Tuesday about
a half-mile from the scene.
This incidence occurred
at 6.30 P.M. At that time, Rose had been investigating car break-ins when he
had stopped a bicyclist. In addition, Rose, who was engaged to be married next October,
is the first Wayne officer who died at the place he worked.
For me, being a police
is not easy. I used to think that being a police is the easiest job. But I was
wrong. I realized that being police officers are difficult, especially when they
have to solve problems about crime. The worst is, they can get injured or be
killed. RIP Collin Rose, God be with you always.
